Reissue of Scratch Acid’s first (and only) full-length album, “Just Keep Eating”, remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service from the original analogue tapes.

Rabid Cat Records released the band’s debut release “S/T EP” in 1984 and followed it with their only full-length album, “Just Keep Eating” in 1986. After playing a total of 146 shows, Scratch Acid broke up after the long tour that followed the release of the “Berserker” EP in 1987.

Since that time, the band have had many imitators, and many alternative bands have cited Scratch Acid as one of their influences. Scratch Acid vocalist David Yow and bassist David Wm. Sims went on to form the much-adored The Jesus Lizard in 1987 with guitarist Duane Denison.
