Alexandra Sashe is a Russian poet who now lives in Austria, and writes in English, her fourth language. This is her third collection, all from Shearsman, followingAntibodies(2014) andConvalescence Dance(2017). A poet whose work is infused with a kind of religious ecstasy, her work has its roots in the work of Paul Celan and the mystical thinkers of the Eastern Church.
